KOMODO ISLAND
As the largest island in Komodo National Park, Komodo Island hosts a thriving ecosystem, home to an estimated population of 1,000 inhabitants, including Sumba deers, water buffalos, wild horses, and different species of snakes and birds. Mount Satalibo, the island’s highest point, is also home to a village that sustains itself mainly through fishing and providing friendly guides to visitors, ensuring safe encounters with the famous Komodo Dragons.
